Happy Holidays from Traidcraft
Traidcraft are the original fair trade pioneers in the UK, advocating the importance of organic farming, sustainability and transparency to the lives of growers and artisans around the world.
Win a festive hamper of Fairtrade treats
Traidcraft was founded back in 1979 when their first hand-drawn catalogue was published, shortly followed by the introduction of the first fair trade tea, coffee and sugar to the UK. In the following years, Traidcraft pioneered the arrival of fair trade chocolate, fruit juice, wine, rice, honey, charcoal, rubber and even the world’s first, sustainably-grown, fair trade palm oil, named FairPalm!
In 1992, Traidcraft jointly founded the Fairtrade Foundation and helped establish the Standards that underpin today's well-known FAIRTRADE Mark. Getting big companies to adapt to the principles of fair trade hasn't been easy, but Traidcraft has been instrumental in making this happen.
